Dear friends,
could you please uphold my husband in prayer?
He injured his hand at work yesterday and has broken his finger and cut through the extender tendon.
As a man who's trade is cabinet and furniture making and restoration, he is very concerned about his work and how he can now fulfil his obligations to customers.
He will have his hand in plaster for at least 6 weeks.
He will be home today if the surgeon is satisfied with last night's operation to reconnect the tendon.
We are praying that all will heal well and that he'll have full use of his finger restored.
Praising God that he did not lose the finger completely-it could have been so much worse!
blessings to all..Trish
I'm wishing your husband a speedy and full recovery. The injury is bad enough without the worry of work commitments. I hope the surgeon is satisfied and that you have him home today - Kathleen.

Keeping him in prayers!!!!
ReplyDeleteoh my dear! I can only imagine! I know how horrible it is when I cut myself at work! I am praying for him! That healing can be restored! :o)
ReplyDeleteDear Trish,
ReplyDeleteIt is always such a time of anxiety when something like sickness or accidents happen.
But do not despair. Our Lord allowed the accident to happen for His reason and His purpose.
My prayers are with you and your husband. He knows what is happening. He knows that your husband needs to fulfill those obligations. Do not worry or fret or become anxious.
Instead focus on the blessing that your husband did not loose his finger. Focus on the together time that you will have to pamper and take care of your loved one. Focus on that on a daily basis. Our Lord will give him the strength needed to stay still and get well. I am sure that everything will be fine in the end.
Praising Our Lord with you Trish for such a near calamity...Thank you Father for You watching over Trish's husband...And Lord, give him peace as he begins the healing process. It will painful, but more so because of the work that is left undone.
Keep them close Father!
M.

....and thank you for the prayers for my daughter.
Dear Trish,
ReplyDeleteI just noticed that you were following my blog, and thought I'd wave a "hello" from Birdsong Cottage! :) Sorry to hear that your husband has been injured; I don't know if he would be open to it, but if he could get some comfrey salve and put that on his wound, it is reputed to speed the healing process of such things.
I'll be sure to come around again and get to know you better; I can tell that we're kindred spirits!
Love,
Marqueta
I am so sad to hear this news and pray that your husbands hand heals quickly and well so he can return to his work. I also pray that his customers understand the situation - most people do.
