Sunlight
blushing pink through lace
on a winter's day
embellishes my mind
with soft dreams of summer's warmth.

My home is my haven and I love decorating it in an eclectic mix of cottage and primitive styles. I enjoy gardening and dabbling in painting, doll-making and needlework. My good husband is the patient genius who builds wooden projects for me to paint and play with. My life is pretty simple, quiet and happy. I hope you enjoy your visit to "Angel Wings & Apron Strings."
That is sooooooooo pretty. Yes the appreciation of handiwork is such a wonderful simple pleasure.

Very pretty and delicate. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteThe hours it took to make such a beautiful piece deserves for us to appreciate it as a gift.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are beautiful Trish.
Lovely, Trish! It's so hard to imagine you in the throes to winter while we're enduring upwards to 100 degrees and humidity in our summer days in the states. Your lace and sunlight is a sweet promise of warmer days ahead - all things in their season.

Trish, one of my favorite things is watching sunlight on objects. There is a warmth, as you said. The lace is just beautiful.
