My very aged Aunty Edna finished her race this morning.
She passed away peacefully in the nursing home that she recently moved to earlier this year, after becoming too frail to stay at home with my cousin any longer.
My sweet mother has been very blessed to have had her big sister for such a long time.
She was 100 years and 10 months old!
A strong character and family matriarch..
who will be sadly missed.
I'm sorry, Trish, for your family's loss...what a fine age she lived to! That photo of her and your mother is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBless you.
