-- A woman is feminine!
She never boasts about being “like a man”.
All she will get for such boasting is that men will feel let down.
They will not know how to react to her.
In the depths of their being, they will feel unhappy and disturbed as though something beautiful has been desecrated.
The man should open the door for a woman and generally behave as a man in the presence of real womanhood.
In this they help restore their own masculinity.
Women, on the other hand, must remember the nature of womanhood and must accept these things graciously not saying “I don’t need all these". -- Catherine Doherty

Hi Trish,
ReplyDeleteVery thought provoking post.
I think some women in the workforce have blurred the lines and exibit masculine traits, and that is sad.
In all things we must try to be femenine.
I wear trousers all the time, but I try to dress them up with pretty colourful tops and jewellery.
God Bless

ReplyDeleteA good post, Trish. The lines have definitely been blurred between men and women and it's time to realize that we are suppose to be different. I cringe anytime I hear or talk to a woman who is trying to be as tough as a man. We need to learn to be women the way God intended us to be. It's o.k. to be feminine.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy to be able to join Simply Sweet this week. Thanks!
Hello dear Trish,
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you! If women behaved more like ladies, it would cause the men to act more like gentlemen. I, for one, do not want to be treated like a man! I enjoy having the door opened for me. Wonderful post and thank you for sharing.
Blessings,
Sandi
Hello Dawn, thanks for your kind words!
ReplyDeleteI have added you to my email-post list - let me know if there's any problem.
I hope I've done it right :-)
bless you..Trish
Fascinating concept, interesting post...I agreee that women should be women. To be a woman does not mean to be witless or weak, but I think feminists have sold this bill of goods to modern women. How sad. And, women behaving as men does affect the ego of honorable men.
