"Beyond Our Limitations"

Lord we need to move beyond

This place that we are in

To touch your very heart, O God

To have your love within

We need to move beyond the limits

We've placed upon our lives

To move into more of you

Revealed through Jesus Christ

Help us to keep pressing on

As, by faith, we take more steps

To really conquer our inner selves

To know you with more depth

Help us Lord to overcome

To be focused more on you

No matter how hard it gets for us

We need to press on through

Though Satan rises with hell's fury

With vengeance to devour

We pray, O God, you'll arise in us

And fight with holy power

For greater are you within us

Than the enemy of our souls

For you have power and might, O God

And your Spirit is in control

We know the victory shall be ours

Though for now the heat is on

Help us Lord to not give up

For by this you make us strong

You will sustain us in your love

Through what we're going through

And deliver us the other side

Victorious in you!

Dear friends, if you are going through trials right now,

 I want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on the Lord.

He is the One Who tenderly loves you and will sustain you
 and strengthen you for whatever today and the future may hold.

We don't know what will come our way, from one day to the next,

but nothing catches Him by surprise!

Sometimes, as we go through life, things happen that "spin us out"

and  it can seem like we're losing our footing and are about to fall.

Hard trials may come upon us unexpectedly.

Things we were not prepared for, nor ever wished to undergo.

Situations may arise, that had we been able to forsee and prevent them,

we probably would have chosen to "let this cup pass"!

But know this-

no matter how painful or distressing our troubles may be,

some good will come of them!

Though it's hard to see how at times,

nevertheless, God will cause something good to arise from the ashes of sorrow.

You will look back and see how He has brought you through the things

 that you could never endure without His grace and enabling!

We do not walk through the fire alone-

God is with us!!

He will deliver

He will give victory

He will raise us up and set our feet firmly on the unshakable Rock!

Don't give up - help is coming.

Hold on.

Hold on to your hope and faith in Him!

He will never let you be overcome, but will make you an overcomer, instead!

Whatever may be the test or trial of life that is sent our way,

it comes with God's foreknowledge and all-powerful grace to bear it.

Not without pain

and not without struggle,

for we must wrestle our 'why me?' questions to the ground and concede that

 "all things work together for good to them that love God" -

 "our light affliction, which is but for a moment,

works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory"! 

( Romans 8:28, 2 Corinthians 4:17) 

The pressure and heat of our trials, are servants of God's grace -

they strengthen and refine our faith and trust in the One Who says to you today,

"I AM with you to deliver you, says the LORD"!
(Jeremiah 1:8)
