This small plot of peace.

When my mind is overwhelmed by the unlovely..

when I need to come aside and quieten my heart..
.

when my soul is craving the sound of serenity and birdsong..

I retreat from the din of the clammouring world to sit in my garden.
Centered beneath the blue expanse above I breathe slowly in.. and out..
prayers of thanksgiving for this small plot of peace.

  1. I have the same feeling as you described. I feel closer to God when I can get out into His creation. During the winter I can even look at pretty pictures like these and feel transformed. Thank you!!

    1. Hello Jayanna, thank you for visiting me. I'm like you..when it's Winter here in Australia I love seeing the pretty Spring and Summer photos of northern hemisphere friends. I enjoy seeing the snowy wintry ones too when we are having a heatwave! It's definitely easier to sense God's Presence and beauty in nature..I find it so relaxing and peaceful. Bless you...Trish

I tried to leave you a message on your blog about the music video but was having trouble with the code being allowed in the reply.
Hope you can understand what I said.
Any Youtube video can be added to blogs by copying the code from the share and embed button and pasting it into a HTML gadget on our blogs. To make it paly automatically you just add.. autoplay=1; after the ? in the code.

      Bless you xx
