Hello dear friends,
I had to share this precious video with you today!
Isn't it wonderful?!
I just love to hear the Christmas Story being told through the innocent eyes of children.
There is something so beautiful about a childs voice stammering out the wonder of God's love, and how He sent His beloved Son Jesus to that humble and holy Bethlehem stable!
Makes me think...
What a delight it must be to our heavenly Father when He hears us, His 'big' kids, tell the wondrous story of His grace and salvation to all who will listen!
How His heart must warm to the sound of our voices telling the glorious Good News that -
"The Virgin shall give birth to a Son...
His Name shall be Emmanuel...
He will be given the throne of His father David...
and His kingdom will have no end..
He will save His people from their sins...
whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life...
He will die once - for the sake of all of us..
He will rise from the dead on the third day...
and draw all men to Himself....
He will ascend into heaven itself...
and be seated at the right hand of God...
He will come back to earth again...
and reward the waiting faithful...
who will live with Him forevermore...
in the glory of God the Father...
and it's all because of grace and there's nothing we will have done to deserve it...
it's a free gift from the heart of God for whosoever wants to receive it...
all we have to do is say yes...
just like the blessed Virgin long ago!"
Ah, my friends...has there ever been better or more glorious good news ?!!
I hope you are all having a very blessed week leading up to Christmas Day.
May we keep our eyes fixed firmly on the true reason for all the celebrations-
"unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given.."
Rejoice!

ReplyDeleteYou have stated this so beautifully, that your message truly warmed my heart! I actually never envisioned how God feels when we sing and state praises to him about the birth of His son. That's quite an awesome thought to think about! :)
ReplyDeleteAt any rate, I couldn't view the video, ugh! I will try to view it later when my Firefox decides to behave itself.
BTW, I LOVE the "He's on His Way" baby picture on your side bar. That's just too precious! Where did you ever find it? :)
Take care Dear Friend, and I hope that you are enjoying your holiday season.
Blessings,
-M. Wildflower
There is nothing more beautiful to God that our voices raised in praise and worship to HIM!
ReplyDeleteJust perfect as always my friend :)

ReplyDeleteA Very Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones.
Blessings and love,

Jesus came as a child; He loves the little children; and we must have childlike faith to receive Him. Praise God for this mystery of the Creator coming as a humble infant to redeem us. Thank you for the beautiful post and for hosting the linkup, and may you have a blessed Christmas!
ReplyDeleteTrish,I love this Nativity story. The children are so good. I think "Mary's" expressions are wonderful. The animals are cute..... a lot of thought put into the portrayal of the Christmas Message.
