Simply Sweet~ family fun

Hello friends,
I thought I'd better let you know that I'm still here and haven't dropped off the planet! lol!
We are all enjoying my son's visit and trying to stretch the hours out each day.
He cooked dinner for us the other night - a spiced cajun chicken with a herb tossed 'magic' salad.
Yum!! It was delicious!
And tonight he is making us Shepherd's Pie :-)
Am I being spoilt or what?!

The jug has constantly been on the boil, and our teapot hasn't had much rest, these past few days.
Lots of talking going on...means lots of need for refreshments!

Our little home has been humming to the strumming.
Our boys continue to jam together just like they always did while growing up!
Happy sounds of music, song and laughter have enveloped us like a warm blanket on a cool day.
Just being together with no real agenda, except to spend time as a family, has been great!
Just one more day left..
sigh!
Going much too fast - but
oh! how thankful I am for every precious minute of it!!

  4. You sound like a very happy mother, indeed. I'm glad that you are "getting spoiled" too, for you deserve it from all your hard work! Love the pictures, and I always like to see pictures of your young men strumming tunes on their guitars! :)

Now, be sure to give that jug and tea pot a rest now when company leaves, so they can serve you well for future company. :)
