"Come," said the Wind to the Leaves one day.
"Come over the meadow and we will play.
Put on your dresses of red and gold.
For summer is gone and the days grow cold."
Reflections of the bright blue sky, white fluffy clouds and warm sunshine...
cast their magic over my old table and constantly beckon me
to abandon the books and laptop
and spend some sweet slow moments meandering along the russet vines
to admire their reddening leaves which, all too soon,
will fall upon the velvet ground below.

Welcome back, Trish! It is wonderful to be able to spend time outside away from the laptop and books. How colorful is God's creation that surrounds us! It was such a blessing to hear that your friend's life will be extend by surgery. I will continue to keep her in my prayers. God is so gracious and merciful!
