Scripture and a Snapshot ~ 19

"As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind."
2 Kings 2:11

I watch the sky
 in late and dying day
as clouds of colour move fluidly
changing hue and form so fast
that if I turn away to duller things I'd miss it in a moment..
the flame of my vesper candle
illuminating fire
of heaven's glory
spilling down to sing the evensong with me

  15. Trish,

I like the photograph. I love how the sky looks when a storm has passed, or when a storm is about to brew. I took some picutres a few months ago of the sky after a storm, and the colors are very vivid and bright. I should probably post them sometime.

I enjoyed the scripture you shared, as well as your poetic words.
