  2. Trish, well, your quote says it all! When I'm longing for something different, or more exciting, I remember that I'm already doing what God wants me to do--the dishes, or the laundry, or ministering to these precious gifts He has blessed us with!

Christine, who is now going about the work of the Lord :)

  5. Doing what He wants me to do in my little cottage, is really what defines me Trish!

Housework is ministering and expressing His Love for everyone that lives here in this humble space.

  6. Housework is really being about the work of God....which is why we shouldn't (me in particular) grumble about doing housework - hard one at times. I do mine for the day, washing is on the line, soon off to do the grocery shopping when DH returns with the car.

  8. Trish,

This is something I always need to remember, that doing housework is doing work for the Lord by serving my husband, faithfully.

I also enjoyed the post from Ann's blog. It was quite inspiring.
