Hello there Trish...I just discovered Ann's blog and am enjoying it very much, just as I've just discovered yours and am enjoying it very much also.
ReplyDeleteI just love all of us ladies encouraging one another to be about our home lives and to consider it a blessing!!♥
Trish, well, your quote says it all! When I'm longing for something different, or more exciting, I remember that I'm already doing what God wants me to do--the dishes, or the laundry, or ministering to these precious gifts He has blessed us with!
ReplyDeleteChristine, who is now going about the work of the Lord :)
thanks for sharing that post! it was a blessing to read!
ReplyDeleteShe's so inspiring to me. One of the many blessings God has sent my way through blogging. I must go check this post out. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteDoing what He wants me to do in my little cottage, is really what defines me Trish!
ReplyDeleteHousework is ministering and expressing His Love for everyone that lives here in this humble space.

Housework is really being about the work of God....which is why we shouldn't (me in particular) grumble about doing housework - hard one at times. I do mine for the day, washing is on the line, soon off to do the grocery shopping when DH returns with the car.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quote! I have really enjoyed Ann's blog for quite some time!
ReplyDeleteTrish,
ReplyDeleteThis is something I always need to remember, that doing housework is doing work for the Lord by serving my husband, faithfully.
I also enjoyed the post from Ann's blog. It was quite inspiring.

Thanks for these words of encouragement, Trish, and I will visit Anne.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Sue
