L.A.C.E.~ Max, a child's potential

A Child's Potential

Give us grace to raise our children
Whatever the daily crises
Strengthen us to reflect you Lord
No matter what situation arises

Give us wisdom to have an answer
When hard questions come our way
When we feel we don’t have the answers
When we don’t know what to say

Give us your eyes so we can see
The potential they have in you
And see the beauty within their souls
To see them the way you do

Give us hope as a firm foundation
And strength to raise them in love
So they may feel secure in you
And may come to learn to trust

We pray, O God, you’ll help us to
Model ourselves after you
So they may walk in all your ways
And see in us your truth

Newest photo of my Great-Grand-nephew, Max
Five months ago a fiesty little boy entered the world in unannounced and unprepared haste.

Baby Max at 9 weeks old
So very small and fragile..yet strong in spirit and personality, he came nearly 9 weeks earlier than expected.

Recent photo of Max at 5 months with big sister Lyla
A miracle of God's grace repeated..as happens so often..to declare the goodness of the Father's heart.

We are still praising the Lord for him and feeling so thankful for your prayers for this child!
I'm happy to report that my great-grand-nephew Max is doing very well today, and continues to grow strong..cherished in the heart of his family.
The Lord is good and greatly to be praised!!
blessings..Trish

  8. My twins were 7 weeks early and so fragile, not even as small as yours. They were under 5lbs when they came home:true miracles. Infact, it was a miracle that made it that far. Reading your post just gave me hope. Even though, at 20 they are not following the Lord now, God would not have saved their little lives had there not been a purpose!

  9. Hi Trish, your little Max is a blessing from God! What a miracle he is. Was he in the hospital for awhile following his birth? Your pictures are so sweet! God Bless.

  10. Hello ladies,
thank you for all your kind comments :-)

Noreen, little Max was in hospital for a month only - which is quite amazing!
He steadily grew stronger and was sent home much earlier than expected.

Shandra, it must have been so difficult to have premi twins!
My eldest son was 1 month early with breathing problems and is still asthmatic at 29.
Not fully walking with Jesus yet, either..but I still have hope!
I agree with you..the Lord has a wonderful purpose for preserving little lives :-)
