How To Enjoy Hot Chocolate for One

Take a pretty blue and white cup and saucer
and select a favourite Victoria magazine and a sachet of hazelnut-hot chocolate.
Mix the chocolate powder with boiling water and stir

and place two Monte Carlo biscuits on your saucer.

Set everything down on your coffee table in front of a comfortable sofa

and take a moment to look around the room,
giving thanks to the Lord for the roof over your head and the love in your home.
Then sit back, relax.. and enjoy the simple blessings of your day!

  3. I love hot chocolate and had one at lunch time with a friend (it was her birthday). I bought Chai chocolate tea on the weekend and when made with milk tastes like chocolate and spices which is so nice for a winters evening.

  6. Good morning Trish,
Such a sweet post and good advice too! It only takes a moment to give thanks and draw near to our Creator. Thank you for sharing and I will add your LACE party to my list. Phil. 4:8 has long been one of my favourite scriptures. Enjoy your day.

    Blessings,
    Sandi

  14. Trish,

I LOVED this post! That's the same way I make hot cocoa, except I don't have Hazel nut. I just have plain ole dark chocolate, but it's still good. I had some this morning. :)

    Blessings,

    -L. Rose

P.S. We seem to be kindred spirits, as we seem to think alike. I like that! :)
