Today, I'm sitting in front of this..
and enjoying one of these..
while watching that from my loungeroom window.
Our first snow of the season arrived unexpectedly today, bringing freezing temperatures and biting winds that make one so thankful to have the pleasure of a warm fire to cosy up to!!

Aaaahh. that is the best.....
ReplyDeleteSounds good, enjoy!
ReplyDeleteHi Trish...I still am having a bit of a time with or differnt seasons lol
ReplyDeleteIt sounds and looks like a wonderful day, but I am looking forward to just sitting on the deck with an ice tea!! : }
I have been laspe on my comments....sorry!!
I have been busy moving the 4 cord wood delivered for the coming winter : }} put in the wheelbarrow push to the wood shed and back and forth.
One good thing it is keeping me warm in two ways!! We have had some chilly days so moving the wood is warming me up and then it will keeps me warm this winter...plus it will get me in shape ...or kill me lol
Blessings and ♥
Hi Trish, so happy to have found your blog from the simple pleasures link up. Seems we share a fondness for having tea and homemaking. Please stop by and say hello. So happy to have found your blog! Blessings to you, Katie (from Arizona, USA) p.s. LOVE the teacup, by the way!
ReplyDeleteIt seems so odd for you to have snow and a fire. I have heat( 93 degrees) yesterday and warm water in my pool.
ReplyDeleteSmiles
Mmm very cozy, sigh.....smile!

What calming and comforting pictures...yes a pure simple pleasure, warmth!
ReplyDeleteA great simple pleasure, happily it's one that I won't be sharing for a while. It seems funny to think of Australia and snow together. I tend to think of Oz as having year long sunshine.
ReplyDeleteOh my what a lovely view you have, Trish! I am a little bit envious, as I'm sure I've mentioned I don't like HOT weather, and it's coming quickly! (pout, pout)
ReplyDeleteTrish,
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you are having a relaxing time just sitting by the fire, while sipping on tea in a delicate teacup and watching a splendid view of nature from your window.
It's strange to think that in your part of the world, it's getting cold and damp. It's getting warmer and warmer in my part of the world. :)
Blessings,
-L. Rose
P.S. As you can see, Blogger is open again.
This is my kind of day. Sorry it took so long to get by, but Blogger has had issues.
ReplyDeleteBeing warm and drinking hot tea is something many people in the world do not have! It is nice to be aware of the simple things. Great view!
