Sweet Violets and Emeralds

Did I ever tell you how much I like violets and pretty china?
Or how well emeralds match my eyes?
Or how blessed I am to have a family that treats me like royalty?

It's all true, my dears!

I received such beautiful gifts from my lovely menfolk on Mother's Day, and my heart is so grateful for their thoughtfulness and consideration.

Yes indeed..I am truly a very blessed lady!


And as I sit here wearing emeralds and sipping from my pretty voilet covered teacup..

enjoying the fruits of my family's love for me..

I pray that your cup also, is running over with joy today.. and the sweet assurance of God's grace and tender love for you!

But I have to say,  my head is a bit slow in getting round to planning homemaking goals for this week's Hearts for Home.
It seems to want to linger on the loveliness of Sunday for a while longer...
Still..the garden is calling my name and this week hubby and I are well into digging a new veggie patch.
So there is where my focus will be for next few days :-).

    oh my, this are the cutest Mother's Day gifts I have seen today. The violet chintz pattern is really outstanding and who would resist Emeralds. Even the little tea bag has the matching color to the cup. All is so loving and surely well deserved. Wish you a wonderful week.

    I adore violets too and love that tea cup. I remember having a beautiful violet garden in one of our old homes. they are such a sweet looking flower.

    Such a beautiful teacup, violets remind me of my grandmother, she would always pick a bunch for us grandkids to take home... just perfect mignon flowers. So happy you celebrated a wonderful mother's day and received perfect gifts from your family.
