Simple Cottage Saturday

The weather is still and mild but quite dull outside today.
We're hoping for some rain to quench the thirsty ground of a typical dry Australian summer weekend.
Hubby is loading rubbish into the trailer to take to the garbage tip.
I am contemplating painting and recovering this old but very comfy sofa!

We will be playing with our new "beach theme" for the cottage with paint and sea objects which I need to find spots for.. such as this wonderful china-painted plate created by my Beloved.
And a trip into town to shop for some new curtains may possibly be on the day's agenda if we feel like it later.
It's a slow-paced Saturday for one needful chore as well as some pleasant pottering around the home...the kind of Saturday I enjoy the most :-)

What are your plans for today ?

Cottage blessings...Trish

  4. Your corner looks like a lovely spot to sit with a Bible and a cup of tea. I am headed to the garbage dump with trash this morning. A Canadian version of your rubbish and garbage tip. *Smile*.
