Days are golden..

Our maple's golden dress is quickly falling to the ground this week. Such a pretty sight for those of us who don't mind a front yard all carpeted in leaves. The sun has been lovely and warm the past few days, making it a pleasure to hang the washing and meander through the garden to see what changes the colder season is bringing with it.
I rather like this time of year...having our cosy fire quietly burning away indoors and some brisk air out in the yard makes me feel alive!

  1. Your days are golden up your way, my trees are losing their leaves but not too golden mainly brown and a bit yucky at the moment as we are having rain a lot lately but it's very pretty when they are golden and dry.

  2. Hi sweet Trish :) Your pictures are just lovely! While you are enjoying your golden trees, we are enjoying the blooming of the trees. My crab apple and apple trees are going wild with their pretty blossoms :)

    I hope you are well.
