Hmmm..looks like hubby has a new project in mind.
Yep...he's definitely up to something.
Aha! Now I know!
He's putting up a small lattice arbour for us to walk through from the flower garden to the vegie patch. I've been wanting something to differentiate the two areas, so yesterday we decided to put this up. It will be painted white to match the other timber framework in the yard (when the wild wind dies down!).
I've always loved lattice in a garden and I'm happy with the way this looks.
It has such a nice "country cottage" appeal to me.
It looks quite old-fashioned and friendly sitting amongst the flowers...
Oooo! That's really nice! I like lattice work too, and I like the little round garden with the little tree growing in it. Your garden looks like the perfect place to sit and relax. He sure is busy too. :-)
ReplyDeleteBlessings and enjoy your weekend!
That looks pretty good, I like the various areas of a garden defined, I have fences with jasmine growing all over them. Plus if you have animals visiting you can shut off certain areas but it doesn't work with cats they just go where they like.
ReplyDeleteMerle..............
How nice,I always think these little lattice arbours look really good in a cottage garden
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful. I love your garden. I can see a very tropical tree in the background-like a palm tree kind of thing-different climates and vegetation are so interesting. Enjoy your new addition to your lovely garden...
ReplyDeleteLovely. I wonder if you will grow roses up it?
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Your garden is just lovely and this lattice arbour only adds to its beauty. Oh, and anything old-fashioned and friendly is always a good thing. :o)
ReplyDeleteHi Trish... the lattice arbor looks great..... my one up the side of the house is dilapidated but no one can touch it to repair it because if it comes down it might never go up again...lol

It is so pretty and your hubby is so clever, I wish my hubby loved lattice as you both do. I love the country feel of it too but sadly hubby's opinions differ to mine. Thank you for popping in yesterday I hope you weren't too tired this morning...
ReplyDeletebig hugs

It looks lovely Trish...
ReplyDeleteIt looks lovely Trish. I can imagine it with climbing roses too. It looks nice and warm there, we are in the middle of a storm here.
