Simple Pleasures ~ a romantic bushwalk

My beloved turned to me and smiled
a wildflower from the forest floor
his offering.

Transfixed by mountain scenes of beauty stretching far
 and deep in awesome splendor
we marveled at the vastness of our God!

My simple pleasure this week was going for a bushwalk, through the Blue Mountains, with my husband  :-)

join Dayle and friends to see the simple things that bring joy to our daily lives.

  9. One of the things I am committed to do this year is to venture out to walks in different places. I would love to walk where you live. You are so right about that sight glorifying the vastness of God! Gorgeous.

Of course, the wildflower does a pretty good glorifying job, too, doesn't it?

  13. Trish, I may just hop on a plane and come visit you with my camera. (I wish it were that easy!!) The view is amazing. I'm always in awe when people live in places like yours, and never stop to see the beauty around them, or never acknowledge the hand of God in the creating of that beauty. Thanks for sharing this.

    Blessings,
    Christine
