Velcro's bad day!

"Umm..excuse me...would you mind telling me

what's with all these coloured bottles on the windowsill?

I suppose you think they look pretty cool, don't you?!

But can't you see how inconvenient for me they are?

I mean..how do expect me to spend all day staring out the window with all these bottles in the way?!!

I don't know why you like them so much, you can't drink whatever that is inside them and besides they've all gone weird and funny shapes as well! Ugh!

Oh and while we're still talking about MY windowsill..how about putting a decent photo in that frame?!

Tsk! tsk! tsk!The things a cat has to do to get a little respect around here!

  1. Hi Trish...and Velcro,
The coloured bottles look lovely on the window sill.....Velcro, you might have to look out the door or try another window....
I have lots of empty picture frames displayed at my place.....I enjoy 'thinking' about what photo I might put in each one...
    Have a nice weekend...

  4. I can imagine a cat saying all those things they don't like any change in the placement of things do they, mine usually sit on things that have suddenly appeared mainly new plants or new clothes or fresh washing just come in from the clothes line, teaches you to put thing away quickly.
Does Velcro rule your house you could put a picture of him in the frame, would that make him happier.
    Love Merle....

  7. Hi Trish! Cats can be so funny! ha.
The bottles are pretty....I just got my pottery barn catalog and they have colored bottles in a display.

I appreciate your sharing about blogger problems. I guess I was fortunate to not run into them until now...so far so good since I did the right-click...2 days of no problems..hope they all go away for all of us!

  8. Poor Velcro (love the name BTW). Have you moved the bottles for him yet as I'm sure he's putting the pressure on. :o) I can imagine the looks he gave you...animals can say so much with one look, can't they.

The bottles look great in the window and I imagine when the sun shines through them it looks amazing.

    Have a great weekend, Trish!

Read your previous posts, and enjoyed your flowers so much, I am so looking forward to spring and planting time here, by then you will be into your fall season.

Enjoyed reading about your pets, we have a new dog, and he has certainly taken over our household and our hearts. Thanks for sharing, enjoy your weekend.
    Hugs,

  13. LOL! Excellent post! Our poor little kitties are still getting used to our new home - my cat, Louis, is absolutely disgusted that the river keeps changing its height - we've had two floods since we arrived, and his 'hidey hole' keeps getting covered over - he's not happy!

  14. Trish everything is looking great in your yard ~ its coming on a treat.
Aren't cats funny the way they try to pick their way through your precious things? They usually manage to knock somehing over!

We lost our sweet little girl cat yesterday, sadly. We have her brother still, thank the Lord.
    I will miss her so!
Funnily enough, we used to say she had "Velcro paws"!
    xx Alex
